Wrist Wraps

Why You Need Them

Whether you’re tackling a heavy lift or revving the engine during a metcon, wrist wraps offer support and stability to the wrist joint in pressing movements and overhead lifts. Without proper form, a heavy lift can cause some serious injury, and wrist wraps can help prevent hyperextension and promote proper stability of the wrist joint under tension.

ROGUE WRAP

COMFORTABLE FIT, EASY TO ADJUST, SECURE

Rogue Wraps provide a streamlined, easy-to-adjust alternative to bulkier wrist wraps. Our team of athletes loved the simple twist-tight design for fast, custom adjustments. Instead of repeatedly wrapping and unwrapping your wrists between movements, you can tighten the material for extra support on heavier lifts, then loosen it for a little more range of motion on the next.

We Also Tested

WOD Wear Elastic Wraps

Although our testers were big fans of their double-layered heavy-duty cotton construction, they were turned off by the wrap’s lack of elasticity out of the box.

Bear Grip Wrist Wraps

While our testers liked its thickness and look, they felt its wide band took away from support on the wrists and found the thumb loop to be inconvenient.

Rogue Wrist Wraps

Our testers noted that the elastic didn’t seem to last long. While they loved the wrist support and stability they offered, that didn’t make up for the durability concern.

Shoulder to Overhead

Tested to evaluate the wrap's ability to reduce strain from weight exertion on wrists when pressing overhead.

Clean and Jerks

Tested to evaluate how the wraps stabilize and align the wrist underneath the barbell and during dynamic lifting movements.

Ring dips

Tested to evaluate how the wraps prevent wrist hyperextension during push movements that lack a stable base.

DECIDING FACTORS

Fit

was the most important factor when evaluating and ranking the different wrist wraps.

Adjustability and Customizability

was the key functionality differentiator that put Rogue Wrap on top.

Why Our Testers Loved
The Rogue Wrap:

“This style of wrist wrap is my preference because you don't have to worry about velcro. Rogue has made this specific style even more high end with the addition of the non-slip material on the tie to ensure it doesn't come undone.”

- Adam Klink

“These are the best wraps because they are adjustable depending on how much support I require for each movement.”

- Jared Stein

“I love the versatility and customization of fit with these.”

- Pearce Cucchissi

“The Rogue Wraps provide the right amount of support combined with a level of comfort and ease of use that makes this my go to choice every time. The size of the wraps are not overbearing. They fit perfectly.”

- Rory Korpela
