Q: WHY DO YOU PRIORITIZE FITNESS IN YOUR LIFE?

Because it's the building blocks of everything positive in life. It will give you a positive outlook on other things in your life. It will test you and humble you to give you perspective. It's my medicine.

Q: WITH ANY NEW MODALITY YOU GET INTO, HOW DO YOU APPROACH IT IN ORDER TO MASTER?

I've been training in kickboxing a ton lately. I believe that you have to get into the modality head first. Engulf yourself in the culture. Find a WHY as to why you want to do it. Then perfect the details of it and give it an excellent effort.

Q: HOW DO YOU EMBRACE THE “BETTER THAN YESTERDAY” MINDSET IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

Every single day I take a true and honest self-assessment of myself physically and mentally. Where I'm at in my life now, I'm not going to have massive revelations in each day. But I can focus on getting 10% better. Find something small, improve on it, become a perfectionist of the details and you'll always move forward.

Q: WHAT LESSONS HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM FITNESS THAT HAVE SERVED YOU THROUGHOUT YOUR LIFE?

How to face adversity. It has also taught me to challenge myself and to never take the easy route. There's no shortcut to success.

Q: WHAT’S THE ONE WORKOUT YOU ALWAYS DREAD? LOOK FORWARD TO? WHY?

When I played football, I always hated the 60-yard shuttles. Those were a nightmare. But I loved how they tested me. I always loved squat day. It was a day that was just you vs the bar. Fighting gravity in its most rare and heavy form.

Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR USE CASE UNIQUE?

I'm more than just an athlete, and yes I am an athlete not a fitness influencer. I am an entrepreneur that uses fitness as a tool. I have faced adversity my whole life and used fitness as something that helps others see the intensity that I bring to the gym is what I bring to all aspects of my life.

Q: WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR TWENTY-YEAR OLD SELF?

You're in this for the long haul. Keep your head on straight. Perfect your craft and do everything you do with relentless effort.

Q: HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF PUTTING TEN THOUSAND SHORTS TO WORK IN THE FUTURE?

My training sessions are intense and I would challenge anyone to have a harder workout where the flexibility, durability, and fit of the shorts are more tested. The interval shorts pass the test 10 times outta 10.
