The challenge

The Foundation Short is built to stand up to the wear-and-tear of the hardest workouts. Every element of the short ensures bombproof durability over the long haul, no matter how you wear it. Always focused on building what he calls "real world horsepower," Bobby Maximus trains for strength, speed, and maximum endurance. A believer that "to be athletic, strong, and powerful – better yet, a true silverback – you need to train like one," Bobby demands gear that will handle his brutal regimen.

WARM UP:

  • 10-minute run (including various sprints and jumps)
  • 2 x 5 Wall squat
  • 2 x 20 Squat
  • 2 x 20 Lunge
  • 8 sets of 3 jump squats at 30% bodyweight

Rest 90 seconds between each

MAIN SET:

  • 6 sets of 2 deadlifts at 85% 1RM (Bobby uses 525 - 555lbs depending on the day)
  • Chase each set of deadlifts with a 20-40 yard sprint

 

FINISHER 1:

  • 10 sets of 10 back squat at 225lbs

Rest 90 seconds between each

FINISHER 2:

The Holy Trinity: 30 Minute AMRAP

    • 10 Pushup  

    • 5 Pullup

    • 10 Dip

COOL DOWN:

  • Crawl home
